Introduction
The repair cost estimator is pre-built with 24 scopes of work and roughly 300+ common work items that you will find on a typical rehab project. But we understand that every project and every company is unique, and we understand that you may need to change scopes of work, work item descriptions and unit costs to meet your specific business or project needs. The Repair Cost Estimator is completely customizable to allow you more flexibility to tailor your repair cost estimates to your projects and business. Example As an example, lets completely delete one of the scopes of work and start fresh with a custom Scope of Work & custom work items. For this example project, we are going to change the Miscellaneous Scope of Work to Pools and Pool Equipment. The first item we will modify is the Scope of Work Title. Let’s change this to POOLS AND EQUIPMENT. Once I change the Title Block you will notice that the Scope of Work Title changed on the Estimate Breakdown, as well as the Total Description at the bottom section. This is also going to change the Scope of Work description throughout the spreadsheet on every tool and report. Now let’s add in some work items for the Pool and Equipment below. Just simply type in the custom work item descriptions for your project and assign the appropriate unit costs. Conclusion As you can see the Repair Cost Estimator is completely customizable and you can gut and rebuild the spreadsheet as needed to tailor the spreadsheet to meet your unique project and business.
