What is the repair cost budgeter?
The repair cost budgeter is a calculator that is used to create a construction budget for a rehab property.

When do I use the repair cost budgeter?
The repair cost budgeter is used once you get a property under contract, receive contractor bids and need to establish a repairs budget for the project.

How does the repair cost budgeter work?
The repair cost budgeter operates the same way as the repair cost estimator…You will notice that the information from the repair cost estimator is fed into the repair cost budgeter (work items, quantities, unit costs, etc.).  This information can be changed or adjusted as needed to create your budget.

What is the difference b/w the repair cost estimator & repair cost budgeter?
The repair cost estimator is used to estimate repair costs before you get a property under contract.  Once you get the property under contract and receive contractor bids, you will use the repair cost budgeter to create a repairs budget to be used for construction.

Why do I need both?
Having both the repair cost estimator & repair cost budgeter allows you to compare your preliminary estimate to your repair cost budget once you get contractor feedback.  You will be able to see what items you missed which will ultimately make you a better cost estimator.  Tip: Use the repair estimate vs budget report to compare the two side-by-side.

What is the contractor bid tracking feature?
The contractor bid tracking feature can be used to track contractor bids and compare prices to determine the lowest qualified contractor for each scope of work.
