Setting Up the Planned Start Date

The 1st task for setting up the project scheduler is to input the planned start date.

The planned start date is the date that will be used to as the starting point for the project schedule.

The project scheduler has a schedule timeline across the top of the screen that indicates the date, the day, & day #.

You will notice that the once you input the planned start date, the overall schedule timeline and 1st day of the project schedule will begin w/ the planned start date…

Inputting Your First Project Task

Once you’ve established the planned start date you will input your first project task which will start on the planned start date or the 1st day of the schedule.

The 1st task in our project schedule is interior demolition work, which will start on the 1st day of the schedule & will take 2 days to complete.

Now that you know how to setup the planned start date, & your 1st project task you can begin to schedule your remaining project tasks.
